About BOSS
BOSS is a free, read-only reference for options strategies on crypto, priced live with real market data from Deribit, OKX and Bybit. It is built and maintained by the BOSS team.

Why BOSS exists
Most options education explains strategies with made-up prices. Most trading screens show live prices and explain nothing. BOSS puts the two together: each of the 58 classic strategies explained in plain language, and built right now from real BTC and ETH options, with what it would really cost to trade, fees included.
It is meant for anyone learning options and for traders who want to check a structure before they place it somewhere else. Start with the five-minute guide or find a strategy by market view.
What we stand by
- Real numbers. Every figure comes from live public market data, never from a canned example. When the data is late, the page says so.
- Free, with no account. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to pay.
- Read-only. BOSS never places, routes or executes orders, and holds no keys to any exchange.
- Private by design. Your watchlist, paper positions and preferences stay in your browser. Analytics and comments load only if you accept cookies.
- Not advice. BOSS explains and measures; it doesn't recommend. See the disclaimer.
- Open about method. How every figure is computed, limits included, is on the methodology page.
Who makes it
BOSS is built and maintained by the BOSS team, independently of the venues whose data it shows: it reads only their public data, as anyone can. The strategy catalog follows the structure of The Bible of Options Strategies by Guy Cohen; the text is original (see credits).
